"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."  - Jesus  (Matthew 21:22)

The Silent Unity Prayer Ministry:   Prayer is the foundation and the heart of our work. For over one hundred years, Unity has been dedicated to helping people through prayer. Silent Unity, the prayer ministry of Unity (World Headquarters, Unity Village, MO), responds to nearly two million requests from people who write, call, fax, or e-mail for prayer support throughout the year. A vigil of prayer is maintained in Silent Unity around the clock to pray for those who request prayer.

"All things are possible to him that believeth."  - Jesus  (Mark 9:23)   - Also quoted by H. Emilie Cady in Lessons in Truth,  Chapter 6, as

"All things can be done for the one who believes."

Note from Unity Church of Green Valley Prayer is a major part of Unity worldwide.  A 24-hour prayer number is used by millions at Silent Unity, a prayer center located at Unity Village, Missouri.  We also welcome your calls for any spiritual needs at our local office number (520) 625-5687.  A Silent Unity Prayer Service is held at the Church each Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.

Anyone can submit a Prayer Request to the Unity Church of Green Valley at our Sunday Worship Services or by calling (520) 625-5687.  e-mail:  unitygreenvalley@aol.com   These Prayer Requests can be for anyone, any thing, or any condition.  They will always be held in strict confidence.

At each of our Sunday Worship Services, the Minister conducts a quiet prayer session, in which a Prayer Box, containing all of the Prayer Requests that have been submitted, is brought before the Congregation and is included in our collective prayers at that time.

Our Church also conducts a Silent Unity Prayer Service each Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in our Church Building, 17630 S. Camino de las Quintas, Sahuarita, AZ 85629.  At this service, which is open to everyone, we pray for all of the Prayer Requests that have been submitted to us.  These Prayer Requests are then sent on to Silent Unity Prayer Ministry at Unity World Headquarters for support by their vigil of prayer.

Please join us in Prayer Support for those of our Church who have become challenged and need our spiritual support. Go to our Prayer Support page.

"So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." - Jesus  (Mark 11:24)   - Also quoted by

Dr. H. Emilie Cady in  Lessons in Truth,  Chapters 5 and 6.

Myrtle Fillmore, the co-founder of Unity, writes in a letter on Prayer "It is not enough to pray.  Prayer is one step that you take, but you need other steps.  You need to think of God, the all-powerful Healer, as being already within you, in every part of your mind, heart, and body.  To keep one's attention and prayers in the spiritual realm of mind, without letting them work out into the soul's expression and into the actual physical doing of that which corresponds with what the mind and heart has thought and spoken and prayed, is to court trouble.  To keep declaring love and power and life and substance, and yet unconsciously, perhaps, assuming limitations and living them, will cause explosions and congestion that work out in the physical. We need to harmonize our thinking and our prayers with actual living experiences.  Sometimes we pray to a God outside of ourselves.  It is the God in the midst of us that frees and heals."

"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask whatever ye wish, and it shall be done unto you."   - Jesus (John 15, 7)  - Also quoted

by Dr. H. Emilie Cady in  Lessons in Truth,  Chapter 11.

"Pray without ceasing."  - Paul  (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
