What is Unity?

In Memoriam

"Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."  - Jesus  (John 3:15)

Unity in the Valley member, Charlotte Lilliedahl, lost her mom, Annabel Widmer,  on May 5, 2008 after a long illness but a very peaceful passing.  Charlotte, her Father and family members in from out of town are doing well and realize their mom is now whole, strong and free in her next life.  The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Valley Presbyterian Church, where Charlotte's father and mother had been members for many years.

Unity in the Valley and its members will host a luncheon for the family at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008 following the memorial service.  Unity members wishing to welcome Charlotte's family are asked to bring something to share for the luncheon.  Feel free to email (SusanKayP@aol.com) or call Susan Pace (520-648-6444) regarding the luncheon.

The grandson of Lori McClain and son of Cori Hart (photo not available) made his transition at the end of April.  Our prayers are with Lori and Cori and their family.

Rev. Maurice Guerette's mother (photo not available at this time) made her transition at the end of February.  Our prayers are with Maurice's family.

Photos below are of previous church members who made their transitions in 2005-2006.  We do not have any photos of more recent decedents.

We have constructed a Memorial Garden behind our Church in honor of Dorothy Seaberg.  The bridge to the garden was built by Howard Cook in memory of his late wife, Rev. Nancy Cook.  A major financial contribution to this bridge was made by Carolyn Cook.

"Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also."  - Jesus  (John 14:1-3)

"I am the resurrection, and the life.  He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."  - Jesus  (John 11:25)
